Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) is a worldwide religious organization dedicated to carrying on the spiritual and humanitarian work of its founder, Paramahansa Yogananda, widely revered as the father of Yoga in the West. In India and the surrounding countries, Paramahansa Yogananda’s work is known as Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS). For decades, thousands of SRF and YSS devotees around the world have volunteered their energy, skills, and enthusiasm in service to Paramahansa Yogananda’s mission.
Yogananda Seva (YSO) is a global virtual community that was formed in 2019 by a group of longtime loyal SRF lay disciples at the request of our president, Brother Chidananda, to explore additional ways for SRF/YSS members and friends to serve the Guru’s work.
Yogananda Seva plans and coordinates a variety of projects and initiatives that benefit SRF/YSS members but which are not directly managed by or officially connected with Self-Realization Fellowship or Yogoda Satsanga Society of India.
